War Thunder: Standing Together

War Thunder's 244th Steam screenshot competition asks players to work with company, not just find an impressive solo angle. The Standing Together theme requires two or more allied vehicles in the frame, with submissions accepted until October 9.

The October 3 announcement specifies six winners: three selected by community rating and three by the organizers, each receiving 300 Golden Eagles. This is a judged community contest, not a guaranteed reward for entering.

The Entry Title Needs the Exact Tag

According to the official competition announcement, entrants must submit through the War Thunder Steam Community Hub and use #WTscreen244 as the title, with no other text in that title. The picture must be new and taken by the entrant.

The announcement gives October 9 as the deadline but does not specify an exact cutoff time in the text reviewed for this article. Submit early rather than relying on an assumed midnight in your own timezone.

Editing Tools Can Disqualify an Otherwise Good Shot

The rules accept raw in-game screenshots, not images changed with editing software or external visual enhancements. Built-in War Thunder settings, filters and the replay function are allowed. Previously published images and entries used in other competitions are excluded.

That makes the capture itself the creative task. Arrange the view, timing and vehicles before taking the screenshot, rather than planning to remove an obstruction or alter the colors afterward. An illustration is not an eligible substitute; this article's cover is only an editorial illustration.

A Short Checklist Before Submitting

Make sure both vehicles are allies, verify that the screenshot is your own new work and double-check the title. It is worth reviewing the image at full size too: a scene that reads clearly on your monitor may become harder to understand as a small community thumbnail.

The rules also limit how often an artist can win through the popular vote and state a delivery window of up to 14 working days for prizes. Keep the original image and submission details until the results are settled. The best preparation is a compliant entry with an immediately readable idea, not a heavily polished image that fails the contest's basic conditions.
