Delta Force's September 30 Update Nerfs the FS-12 in Detonation
The shotgun adjustments sit alongside map-boundary and bomb-defusal fixes, separate from the Arcflare cosmetic draw.

Delta Force Detonation
Delta Force's September 30 update reduced several FS-12 shotgun damage multipliers in Detonation, its bomb-defusal mode. That mode label is important: the announcement does not present these numbers as a universal shotgun adjustment across every playlist.
The FS-12 Numbers That Changed
The official update notes lower the limb multiplier from 0.6 to 0.4 and the abdomen multiplier from 1.0 to 0.9. Damage falloff multipliers change from 0.9/0.8 to 0.8/0.7.
Those values describe reduced damage in the specified situations. They do not, by themselves, establish a universal shots-to-kill result or prove which weapon now leads the mode.

Bomb Sites and Boundaries Also Matter
The update fixes out-of-bounds access near Transit's A bombsite and in Shariq Manor's middle lane. It also addresses an NC8 pickup problem and an issue allowing defusal regardless of vertical distance.
The team announced a rollout without downtime, advising a restart if issues followed the update and requiring outdated clients to update before login.
Arcflare appearances are a separate store offering. Their inclusion in the same announcement does not make them part of the balance change. For Detonation players, the meaningful adjustments are the shotgun's reduced multipliers and the corrected objective interactions.
