Zup! 9 is a compact physics puzzle game built around a simple objective: keep a blue ball on its platform for three seconds to clear each level. Its minimal presentation puts the focus on the objects, their placement and the timing of each solution, rather than a larger narrative or elaborate setting.
Explosions are central to the puzzle design. Players use them to move objects and try to preserve the ball’s position long enough to meet the goal. The challenge comes from working out how the physical pieces will respond, then arranging events so the ball remains supported through the brief countdown.
The game contains sixty levels, giving this straightforward premise a series of distinct puzzle setups. Achievements accompany the levels, while new cubes, trading cards and emoticons add collectible extras. Zup! 9 is powered by Clickteam Fusion 2.5; its stated basis also credits an example by Sergio Andre.
