Zombies on a Plane makes a jumbo jet the setting for a survival struggle, as infected passengers threaten to bring the aircraft down. Players can take the captain’s role or fight as a passenger, and the premise puts the plane at the center of both jobs. Combat can reach beyond the aisles to the aircraft’s exterior, where the fight to regain control continues.
The roles bring different responsibilities. Captains maintain vital parts such as the engines and rudder by knocking zombies off the plane. Passengers use weapons and traps to stop the advance, repair parts, and keep doors sealed to prevent new spawn points opening. The game offers six modes, including “Defend the Cockpit” and “Flight of 10 Waves,” as well as five characters and three planes with their own abilities and playstyles. A limb-severing gore system, varied zombie types, and score-based weapon progression add more layers to its survival design.
Its distinctive tension comes from fighting zombies while keeping a vulnerable jumbo jet in the air, whether defending the cockpit or taking the passenger’s side of the struggle.
