Xuan-Yuan Sword VII Demo is a demo for the action RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VII, offering a glimpse of the opening of its story rather than a separate adventure. The full game follows orphan Taishi Zhao and his baby sister Xiang, whose peaceful life in a mountain village is shattered by a mysterious army and a shadowy figure.
The game is presented from a third-person perspective and draws on Chinese history and mythology. Its premise centers on Zhao protecting Xiang from fearsome monsters and powerful demons as the truth about their parents’ murder gradually comes to light. These details frame the journey’s blend of family stakes, supernatural danger and historical-mythic setting.
This demo focuses on the beginning of Zhao and Xiang’s journey, giving that premise a compact introduction. It should be understood as a sample of the larger game, not as confirmation that every element of the full adventure is included. The demo may differ from the final version, and its progress cannot be carried into that version.
