WWE 2K16 is a wrestling sports simulation built around playing as WWE Superstars, Divas and Legends. Its roster spans more than 120 playable characters, from Stone Cold Steve Austin to Seth Rollins, Paige and Finn Bálor. The focus is not only on assembling familiar performers: the game also offers ways to revisit wrestling history and shape a continuing show.
In 2K Showcase, players relive iconic matches and moments by completing objectives, with legendary characters, gear, match types and other unlockables among the rewards. WWE Universe takes a different approach, letting players work with stories, rivalries and match-card selections; assigning Superstars to multiple shows broadens the experience. Together, these modes give the simulation both retrospective match scenarios and a framework for arranging its wrestling world.
It also notes full controller support and Remote Play Together. All DLC is included, adding content such as The Terminator, playable Legends and a Hall of Fame Showcase with featured matches.
