Wuxia Master is a Chinese ink-painting-style RPG set in an imagined ancient Far East. You begin as a newly departed warrior arriving in the capital, preparing to compete for the title of Wuxia Master. Rather than following only a path of combat, the game presents a wider life shaped by training, work, travel and encounters, with the contest giving that open-ended journey a central goal.
Character development combines five attributes with a choice of talents, while encounters can yield items, teach skills or build relationships with other heroes. The ways to spend time range from learning from martial artists and seeking rare manuals to earning a living in a restaurant or drugstore. The game also describes investigating with a morgue team, exploring unusual events, and deciding whether to befriend or oppose more than twenty heroes. Its strategic fights hinge on studying an opponent’s fighting rhythm, so preparation and observation matter alongside the warrior you build.
The personal adventure intersects with court intrigue, an evil cult and competing claims to succession, asking you to choose a side as those stories develop. Its ink-painted presentation and animated characters give this mix of martial arts, social choices and everyday activities a distinct visual identity.
