After losing its home, a lonely Wum sets out across a world in search of somewhere new to live. The journey ranges from Popocity, described as a metropolitan haven, to the cavernous Bliekopolis, introducing a setting populated by Wums, Fnakkers and other unusual creatures. Rather than casting its small protagonist as a conventional hero, Wuppo makes wit and charm central to getting through this expansive trip.
Challenges call for more than combat: the Wum can use items and social skills to make progress, while fights range from small foes to massive enemies. Collectible filmstrips reveal the world's detailed history, giving exploration a narrative thread alongside the quest to resolve an ancient conflict. Hand-drawn visuals and an orchestrated soundtrack further distinguish the adventure's presentation, while its broad world provides room for encounters and discoveries beyond the main objective.
The store lists both single-player and multiplayer, including co-op and shared or split-screen co-op. Its central appeal, as described, lies in an offbeat journey that combines exploration, social problem-solving, combat and world-building.
