Worldwide Rush is a transportation-management strategy game about turning passenger demand into a far-reaching network. Players establish a headquarters, assemble a fleet and link cities with routes, balancing expansion against the task of making the operation profitable. Its global scope makes geography part of the planning: players can work within a country or connect destinations across distant regions.
The network can include planes, road vehicles, trains and ships, with more than 120 vehicle types described, from buses to cruise ships. Passengers are simulated individually and seek efficient journeys through the available routes and vehicles. As cities develop, they unlock destinations, while hotels and marketing offer ways to attract passengers. Rival companies add strategic choices: compete, cooperate or buy them out. Seasonal cycles and regional events influence demand, giving the transport system a changing operating context.
Each session can differ through procedurally generated destinations, varied geography, events, local vehicles and competitors. Players can also customize parameters, select a region and choose competitors, or take a more relaxed approach to connecting cities. Its defining activity, however, is managing the routes and vehicles that carry passengers across a detailed global map.
