Wizard of Legend casts players as contestants in Lanova’s Chaos Trials, a gauntlet staged by the Council of Magic. Victory means proving your wizardry against its members, giving the dungeon-crawling action a clear goal beyond surviving each encounter. Procedurally generated levels keep the challenges varied from one attempt to the next.
Combat turns on quick movement and chaining spells into combinations, while powerful conjured enemies and council members test the player’s choices in battle. More than a hundred spells and items offer ways to shape a magical loadout: elemental spells can be assembled to suit a preferred style, whether that means charging into the fray or relying on minions. Collecting and combining these tools is central to the game’s tactical appeal.
The format supports both solo play and local co-op, including shared-screen play with a friend. In co-op, partners can coordinate complementary spells and items, and a fallen wizard may rejoin after the other player defeats multiple enemies.
