Witch It is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game built around a simple, mischievous premise: witches can disguise themselves as objects in the environment, while hunters search for them. Its villages, islands, and forests are more than backdrops, since arrangements of furnishings and other props create opportunities for hiding and deception. The result is a contest of observation as much as pursuit, with ordinary scenery made potentially suspicious.
The two sides have distinct tools for turning that contest in their favor. Hunters combine abilities to detect, trap, or slow witches, while witches can use spells to escape, disorient, or distract pursuers after being found. Physics-based prop movement also lets players move through the maps and adjust their hiding positions. Alongside standard Hide and Seek, Mobification shifts eliminated witches onto the hunter team; Hunt a Hag strips away skills and projectiles for a game of tag; and Fill a Pot sets teams of witches a prop-gathering objective against a time or lives limit.
Creative mode broadens the format further, letting players build maps or prop arrangements together and share creations through Steam Workshop. Progression also supports character expression, with outfits and brooms to unlock or craft. Across its play and creation options, the game keeps returning to the same distinctive pleasure: making familiar objects part of the trick.
