Wild Woods puts a small band of cats on the road through a dangerous forest, with their wooden wagon as the thing to protect. It is designed as a cooperative action game for one to four players, and its changing demands give teamwork a practical role rather than making it just a social extra.
The journey follows a day-and-night rhythm. In daylight, players gather resources and improve the wagon; after dark, bandit bunnies and badgers attack, forcing the group to defend the vehicle while keeping its beacon fire alive. Along the way, players choose between difficult encounters that offer extra rewards and safer routes that favor resource collection. Each journey has its own course, so those choices shape how the group handles its particular adventure.
Wild Woods supports local play, online sessions, and combinations of local and online players, with Remote Play Together also offered for friends playing from afar. Chasing high scores and unlocking cat skins add goals beyond simply getting the wagon through the woods.
