Where’s My Helmet? is a Nordic-themed platform game built around Axel, a hero who must make careful use of a pair of axes. Its premise is straightforward, but the tools at hand shape how players approach the journey: the axes serve both as weapons and as equipment for climbing, putting combat and movement within the same resource choice.
Those axes cannot be thrown repeatedly without pause. After a throw, Axel must wait for them to recharge, so deciding when to attack and when to use an axe to get past an obstacle becomes part of working through each level. The game also presents hordes of enemies alongside challenges and puzzles, giving players reasons to weigh those options rather than rely on one tactic. Its stated design encourages different strategies for progressing, rather than prescribing a single route through its platforming stages.
The single-player format makes this a solo test of timing and tactical choices, not a shared-player experience.
