We Were Here Too casts two explorers into different parts of an abandoned medieval castle, where a storm and a looming structure set up their attempt to escape. This is an online, first-person cooperative adventure, and communication is central to its design: partners carry walkie-talkies and must use their voices to guide one another through unfamiliar spaces.
The separated players do not see the same locations or follow identical storylines. Instead, each acts as the other’s eyes and ears, sharing observations to solve brainteasing puzzles and uncover hidden corners of Castle Rock. That asymmetry makes careful description and listening part of the challenge, while multiple puzzle solutions are intended to vary how a shared adventure unfolds. Both players need a working PC-compatible microphone.
The castle’s abandoned halls, original soundtrack and dark mystery frame the teamwork, with players piecing together what happened there as they search for a way out. For anyone checking activity, the key question is whether a partner is available for this deliberately paired adventure.
