In Waven, a seafaring hero sets out across a world reshaped by rising waters, where only a few islands remain, seeking answers to the upheaval. The journey through the colorful Krosmoz gives the adventure its identity: this is a fantasy voyage built around exploration, character growth and battles against strange creatures, rather than a setting detached from its tactical play.
Combat is turn-based, with players preparing a spell deck before each fight and shaping a strategy through character archetypes, equipment and mythical companions. Spells draw on elemental powers, while heroes can attack enemies at close range or from a distance. Victories bring experience and loot, which support further customization of a hero’s equipment and deck. The mix of deckbuilding and tactical RPG progression makes preparation as important as choosing how to respond once a battle begins.
Waven offers both PvE encounters against monsters and PvP challenges against other players, alongside play alone or with friends. Its listed modes include single-player, online co-op and online PvP, and the same account can be used across PC, Mac, smartphone and tablet.
