Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks is a racing game set amid the war-torn battlefields of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where Orks take to the roads in fast, heavily armed vehicles. Players can race alone with bots or online with friends, giving the game both solo and multiplayer ways to join its anarchic Speedwaaagh.
Its modes put combat directly into the race. In DEFF RALLY, teams race through waypoints while fighting for position before a final sprint. KILL KONVOY instead pits teams against each other as they try to slow the opposing Stompa and speed up their own by destroying enemies. Buggies, tanks and helicopters bring distinct abilities and playstyles, while movement techniques and explosive weapons add a tactical edge to the driving.
The game also extends beyond its built-in race formats: KUSTOM RALLY features community-made maps and racetracks, and its level editor lets players build custom challenges with a large set of game assets. Vehicle progression unlocks cosmetics and alternative weapons, while customization includes parts and paint jobs for the Ork rides.
