In Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Prophecy, the Caligari Sector faces danger from several fronts: Tyranids emerge from hibernation, Aeldari warriors flee a failing Craftworld, and a mysterious presence returns from the Warp aboard the lost Martyr. This stand-alone expansion continues the story of Inquisitor - Martyr, but does not require ownership of that game.
The Tech-Adept Inquisitor is Prophecy’s distinctive class, joining the Holy Ordos after service as an Adeptus Mechanicus acolyte. In battle, this summoner can call in units and strengthen them, with unique abilities, a dedicated skill tree, and melee and ranged builds. The campaign adds three chapters, one focused on the Tech-Adept’s investigation, and takes players through settings including monasteries, research sanctums, deserts, and lava-scarred worlds. Aeldari and Tyranids are among the new enemy races.
The game supports single-player as well as multiplayer, including cooperative missions for two to four players and a co-op campaign mode. Its design also carries over elements associated with Martyr’s 2.0 update, including a redesigned loot system and faster, action-RPG-focused gameplay.
