Set in 1991 in an Asian theater, Wargame: Red Dragon frames a large-scale clash between Western forces and the Communist bloc, with countries including Japan, China, North and South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Players command the military resources of 17 nations, shaping the game around a broad multinational conflict rather than a single army’s campaign.
Its tactical battles draw on a selection of 1,450 reproduced units, including tanks, aircraft, helicopters, warships, and amphibious forces. Varied battlefields and maritime areas give commanders different terrain to master, while assembling a fighting force and directing its units are central to the combat. The range of equipment and theaters gives the strategy its particular emphasis on combined forces and battlefield choice.
Red Dragon supports a dynamic single-player campaign as well as multiplayer, including online PvP and co-op.
