Wargame: European Escalation imagines the Cold War tipping toward World War III across 1980s Europe. Its real-time strategy battles place the player in command of forces drawn from two sides and eight nations, setting a broad international conflict against the game’s large-scale military focus.
Players assemble an army and direct hundreds of units across maps stretching up to 60 square miles. That mix of force composition and expansive terrain gives the strategy its defining scale, with battles framed as both tactical contests and parts of a larger European campaign.
