Viking Rise is a real-time strategy game that casts you as the leader of a Viking tribe in the uncharted world of Midgard. Its central task is to grow a settlement while exploring, hunting, plundering, and fighting across a Nordic landscape presented with changing seasons, oceans, and mountains.
Territory development is a major part of the design: expand to support your population, recruit talent, and shape your lands around trade, resources, or military strength, with Viking-style structures to personalize the settlement. On the battlefield, commands unfold in real time across a large map. Alliances let players cooperate against rival forces, while diplomacy and warfare offer different ways to stake a claim.
The sea is more than scenery. Ships enable attacks on enemy territory, resource raids, strategic travel, and retreats that can set up an ambush. Heroes drawn from Norse legend and Viking history join the fighting, while expeditions against mythical beasts, ruins, and caves connect exploration to equipment and treasure.
