Set in the shattered remains of Norway in the early 1990s, Vigor casts players as Outlanders trying to survive a harsh post-apocalyptic landscape. Its central Encounters are high-stakes scavenging runs: gather resources, pursue valuable loot, and make it to an exit before death or the advancing radiation cloud ends the attempt. Dying can mean losing everything collected, giving each trip a clear risk-and-reward edge.
Players can choose from more than 60 weapons and consumables to shape a loadout, then contest tactical points, special Loot Events, and the coveted Airdrop. Resources brought back from Encounters feed into a Shelter that can be built and upgraded, opening options such as crafting better equipment and generating materials. That loop gives the game a distinctive blend of dangerous field expeditions and gradual home-base development.
Vigor also offers different ways to approach its PvP. Encounters support solo Lone Wolf play or a Duo with a friend, while Shootout is a solo deathmatch and Elimination puts squads into round-based 5v5 fights.
