Use Your Words 2 turns a party into a contest of improvised comedy. Each round supplies a prompt, whether it is a strange film clip, a blank book cover, a vintage advertisement or an absurd photograph, and players write the line they think will land best. Rather than selecting from a hand of preset jokes, participants can shape answers in their own style; built-in Decoy responses offer a mischievous fallback when inspiration stalls.
Its eight mini-games vary the writing task, from inventing subtitles and product names to filling blanks, defacing signs and answering fake trivia. Mix N’ Match Mode lets a group arrange its own playlist, so a session can revisit a favorite format or move between different kinds of prompts. Phones and tablets serve as controllers, while the game itself is played locally. Remote friends can join through a stream or video conference, making the setup suited to a shared gathering rather than a conventional matchmaking session.
Spectators have a role beyond watching: their interactive meta-game lets them affect the main players’ scores, answer trivia and tease the contestants. Streamer Mode also offers a royalty-free soundtrack and a longer timer intended to account for stream lag, while Family Mode provides an optional content filter.
