Underground Blossom is a Rusty Lake point-and-click adventure centered on Laura Vanderboom. Its premise turns a metro journey into a passage through her life: each stop represents part of her past, memories, or a potential future. As Laura confronts the corruption of her mind, the player’s broader aim is to help her make sense of her life and escape it.
At each station, players solve puzzles, uncover possible secrets, and work out which metro to board next. That repeated act of choosing a route links the game’s physical journey to its fragmented personal history, rather than treating the stations as mere scenery. The design combines a mystery-driven story with the series’ familiar puzzle-adventure approach, while achievements offer another objective along the way.
The game describes seven distinct stations and an estimated travel time of two hours, framing it as a focused, single-player experience rather than a multiplayer activity. An atmospheric soundtrack accompanies the stops, including a cellist performance.
