Tunguska: The Visitation - Final Cut is a single-player survival adventure set in a dangerous post-Visitation Zone inspired by Roadside Picnic and the 1908 Tunguska Event. Its ruined villages, toxic swamps, and abandoned Soviet bunkers offer journals, side-quests, clues, and mysteries to uncover at your own pace. The premise pairs a hostile landscape with the prospect of finding riches and hidden stories, rather than making exploration a simple trek between fights.
Survival depends on more than aim. Players manage food, medicine, radiation, infection, and backpack space while scavenging, hunting animals, and gathering herbs and mutant body parts. Those resources feed into cooking, serums, weapon upgrades, and gear repairs. Combat supports several approaches: Soviet-era guns and melee weapons can be used for direct attacks, ambushes, or stealth, with distractions and suppressed weapons also supporting quieter play. Goal-oriented enemy AI, changing weather, and a real-time day-night cycle give those choices tactical context.
The game is listed as single-player, so its play format centers on an individual’s progress through the Zone rather than shared sessions. Its 12 skills and 72 perks allow flexible character builds, while the grid-based inventory makes carrying capacity part of the survival challenge.
