Total War: NAPOLEON – Definitive Edition frames the Napoleonic era as a contest in which military leadership shapes an uncertain history. Its campaigns span the rise from the early Italian conflict to Waterloo, setting battles against a broader struggle for control. Players can lead Napoleon or oppose him, with the outcome left open to their decisions.
The independent Peninsular Campaign adds a focused conflict on a new Iberian map divided into 32 controllable regions. France, Great Britain and Spain each bring a different strategic position: France seeks to weaken resistance and shift political alignment, while Britain can use outside income to support liberation, and Spain can call on Guerrilla forces. New stealth-oriented units can deploy beyond their faction’s usual deployment zones, while agents and political conversion add another layer to the campaign’s contest for territory.
This Definitive Edition gathers the game’s DLC and feature updates, including the Peninsular Campaign, the Coalition Battle Pack’s Battle of Friedland, and additional elite units.
