Total Tank Simulator turns large-scale World War II battles into a mix of army planning and direct action. As commander, you configure your forces and decide where to deploy them, then can take control of individual units during the fight. That switch between directing the broader battle and piloting a tank, plane, or sniper gives the game its distinctive tactical rhythm.
Its battlefields are built for varied forces and substantial destruction. The game offers more than 200 units and over 50 maps, with deformable terrain and buildings and landmarks that can be gradually destroyed. Campaign missions let players choose a faction and fight to change the course of the war, with objectives such as eliminating a VIP, protecting allied units, or surviving waves of enemies. Sandbox mode opens the door to custom scenarios, while Shadow mode pits players against armies from their previous victories.
Alongside its campaign, the sandbox and survival-style Shadow mode offer distinct ways to engage with its force-deployment and battlefield-destruction systems.
