Toram Online sets its MMORPG adventure in a world shattered by catastrophe and reassembled into a strange, mosaic-like landscape. With the original nation gone, four factions formed amid clashes among the world’s four tribes. Players take the role of an adventurer drawn into encounters with people from those factions and into mysteries spreading through the setting.
Character building is unusually open-ended: the game has no fixed profession system, and players can choose among weapons such as swords, staffs, bows, and halberds. A skill tree lets them strengthen their character, while a combo system supports shaping a personal battle style. Equipment adds further customization through color changes and the ability to create its own abilities as the adventure progresses.
Exploration and combat support online play with friends, including forming parties to tackle powerful monsters. Toram also accommodates solo play through mercenaries borrowed from other players or partners summoned from the player’s sub-characters.
