Titan Souls follows a solitary hero through ancient ruins, gathering scattered shards of the Titan Soul, described as the spiritual source and sum of all living things. Idle titans guard the ruins, and each has savage attacks and a hidden weakness. This quest for truth and power frames the encounters as more than a sequence of fights: the hero seeks the force bound up in the titans and their realm.
Combat turns a single arrow into the central tool. The hero fires at a titan, summons the arrow back to hand, and can then strike again, while dashing and running to avoid attacks. The source warns that death is plentiful, and describes finding and exploiting each creature’s faults as the way to slay it. Exploration also reaches beyond the known guardians: long-forgotten titans lurk in shadows and distant corners, offering further discoveries for a player willing to search the land.
Its spare combat setup makes each encounter revolve around one arrow, evasion, and identifying a foe’s weakness. The premise and single-player category together place the focus on individual exploration and battles.
