In Thea 2: The Shattering, you guide a deity from a Slavic mythology-inspired pantheon and shape the fate of a small group of believers trying to survive. Its world is procedurally generated, so exploration unfolds across varied environments rather than a fixed landscape. The premise gives the strategy a personal focus: protect and direct your people while deciding what kind of presence they will make in Thea.
The game combines turn-based and 4X strategy with survival, RPG and card-game elements. You can gather resources and craft equipment, establish towns and expand territory, or take a nomadic path. Conflicts may be resolved through combat or mental and spiritual challenges, while diplomacy offers another way to pursue your goals. These options make each campaign a mix of managing a community, exploring its surroundings and choosing how to respond to threats.
Thea 2 supports solo play as well as cooperative multiplayer for up to three players, allowing friends to build a pantheon together. Its town-building, crafting and varied challenge types give those choices a distinct strategic and mythic frame.
