The Swords of Ditto: Mormo’s Curse is a roguelite action RPG about a succession of heroes fighting the evil sorceress Mormo. Its colorful island pairs a hazardous overworld with dangerous dungeons and a village where heroes can improve. Each adventure is distinct, yet linked to those before it: later heroes may find weapons and recover loot left behind by fallen legends. That connection gives a run consequences beyond its own battles.
Combat mixes familiar tools, including a sword and bow, with stranger weapons such as a vinyl-record Frisbee and a magic golf club. Stickers add perks to gear, while quests offer freedom in how to approach the island: dungeons can be tackled in any order, secret side missions lead into caverns and wells, or players can challenge Mormo from the start. The game also removes permadeath by default, while allowing players to opt into it.
The format is flexible about company as well as challenge: the adventure supports solo play and local co-op, where a friend can join the fight and revive a less experienced hero. That makes player-count information relevant to whether someone expects to journey alone or share the screen locally. Across either approach, the central appeal is a changing heroic legacy, built from exploration, battles, loot, and choices about how directly to confront Mormo.
