The Outer Worlds: Spacer’s Choice Edition is a remastered role-playing game set in Halcyon, a colony controlled by a corporate board. After waking decades late from a colonist ship’s journey, your character becomes entangled in a conspiracy threatening the colony. The story moves among planets and other locations, where rival factions compete for influence and alien creatures remain a danger.
This edition includes the base game and all add-on content, with improved graphics, performance, animations and environments. Its defining structure is player choice: how you approach situations affects the story, your character build, companion stories and end-game scenarios. You can recruit companions with distinct abilities, missions, motivations and ideals, then help them pursue their goals or use them for your own purposes. The game also invites exploration of settlements, space stations and other places across Halcyon.
The colony’s factions, companion relationships and branching outcomes give that solo journey its distinctive shape.
