The Loopler is a single-player roguelite deckbuilder built around a slot car driving in repeated loops. Its central appeal is the contrast between a simple, continuous circuit and a run shaped by the player’s choices: draft cards, place gates on available track slots, and collect charms.
Building a run means assembling interactions across those systems. Cards can raise passive multipliers, spawn ghost cars, roll for a jackpot, or trigger other cards; gates add further synergies, and their placement order matters. Charms provide additional passive effects, while the game encourages players to tune combinations toward either high scores or speed. The aim is to turn a modest drive into a compounding chain of effects and see how far the build can go toward infinity.
The broader design offers nine cars with distinct identities and effects, nine tracks with different layouts, and five difficulty modes. Daily and weekly challenges add structured alternatives to pursuing a personal best, with optional leaderboards for those who want comparison. Together, the looping track, layered build choices, and challenge formats give The Loopler its particular identity: a solo racing simulation where the strategic puzzle is not steering through traffic, but shaping what happens each time the car comes around.
