Set six months after Trails in the Sky Second Chapter, this RPG returns to a peaceful Liberl where greed and the misuse of ancient artifacts persist beneath the calm. Father Kevin Graham, a senior member of the Septian Church’s Gralsritter, is sent to recover an artifact below Grancel Cathedral. His reluctant partner is Sister Ries Argent, a rookie Gralsritter and childhood friend. What begins as a routine assignment draws them into Phantasma, a mysterious realm governed by unnaturally strict rules.
The game builds on the series’ familiar tactical combat, with difficulty options ranging from Easy to the notably unforgiving Nightmare. Its design also turns attention toward the returning cast: Moon and Star doors, encountered as the story progresses, explore the playable characters more personally. That character-focused structure sits alongside revelations about the Septian Church and the histories of familiar figures who fought for Liberl. A set of new musical tracks accompanies the journey through Phantasma.
As an RPG categorized for single-player play, this is an individual story campaign rather than a multiplayer format. The premise links a church assignment to a strange new realm, while the difficulty choices and character-focused doors give the adventure its particular shape.
