In The Last Hope, an experiment with a scientist’s time machine creates a wormhole, causing humanity and most wildlife to disappear. The scientist’s mission is to find the machine and restore mankind, with the premise casting exploration as a search for a way to reverse a catastrophe rather than a journey through one setting alone.
The adventure spans locations including Russia, Germany, Norway, Egypt, the United States, Mars and the Moon, while portals connect eras from the Age of Dinosaurs to modern times. Survival is part of that exploration: players gather food and drink, including fish, fruit and water.
