The Last Gas Station casts the player as the new owner of a neglected roadside fuel stop and its small store. The previous owner has vanished under mysterious circumstances, leaving a business to restore and a warning to heed: avoid going outside at night. That contrast gives the management premise an uneasy edge, with ordinary upkeep set against an unexplained local danger.
Day-to-day work spans clearing clutter, arranging shelves and fridges, ordering goods, setting prices, serving customers at the register and keeping an eye on fuel. Improvements let owners modernize equipment, add services such as tire inflation and oil changes, expand the store, and adjust its layout and product range. The design links practical shopkeeping to business growth: sales fund upgrades, while prompt checkout service is part of keeping customers satisfied.
The game supports both single-player and two-player online co-op. In co-op, friends can divide the station’s tasks and, when night falls, explore the surrounding area together in search of its secrets.
