The King’s Heroes begins with a kingdom in a bind: Princess Darlene has vanished, the King is broke, and a torn parchment is the sole remaining clue after the shock erased much of the memory surrounding her disappearance. The investigation turns to the King’s closest friends, including a knight, a witch, and a minister. They may be companions rather than professionals, and the player’s choices help determine whether they become heroes or zeros.
That premise feeds into a party-based RPG structure. Players choose from eight character classes, with some offering as many as four subclasses, and can rename characters after themselves or a friend. The game also lists visible encounters, mouse control, and six or more difficulty modes, including a distinctive Attack Mode. Relics and artifacts add discoveries to pursue, while the Colyseum provides a separate place to test the party’s skills and earn rewards.
The game’s appeal, as described, rests on piecing together a disappearance through a deliberately personal cast, then shaping that cast into a party suited to the chosen difficulty. Its combination of mystery, character selection, and optional combat challenge gives the adventure a broader role-playing framework than the rescue premise alone suggests.
