The Jackbox Party Pack 7 is a collection of five party games, each built around a different kind of quick-fire group activity. Quiplash 3 asks players to answer quirky prompts, while Talking Points turns play into an improvised speech: keep talking, whether or not the ideas make sense. Both put spontaneous responses at the heart of the fun, but give that improvisation a distinct format.
The other games broaden the mix. In The Devils and the Details, players face the collaborative chaos of surviving the daily challenges of human life. Champ’d Up is a drawing-based contest about taking down a favored opponent, and Blather 'Round has players guess pop-culture references. These varied designs make the pack less a single extended game than a selection of social activities, moving between wordplay, speaking, cooperation, drawing and guessing.
The listed player ranges vary by game, from two to six for Blather 'Round and three to eight for each of the others. Play uses phones, tablets or computers as player devices, with no extra controllers required; although described as local multiplayer, the pack can also be played with remote participants through screen sharing and a video call.
