The House of Da Vinci casts you as Leonardo’s promising apprentice, searching for the missing master in a workshop crowded with inventions and concealed objects. Its Renaissance setting is more than decoration: the game draws on Leonardo’s ideas and artworks, while its story sends the apprentice through rooms inspired by Florence in 1506. The central question is what happened to Leonardo, and progress comes through investigating the devices and spaces he left behind.
Play revolves around mechanical puzzles, baffling locks, hidden-object discoveries and escaping from rooms. One unusual ability lets you see through nearby surfaces to detect objects; an uncanny gauntlet also lets you witness earlier events, linking puzzle solving to the mystery’s backstory. These tools give the adventure a distinctive investigative rhythm: examine a room, work out how its mechanisms fit together, and use what you uncover to keep searching for the truth.
Its focus is on one player exploring Leonardo’s workshop and solving challenges at their own pace. Steam Achievements and Trading Cards are also listed, but the core experience described here is the solo journey through puzzles, rooms and the story of the missing master.
