The Censor DX Edition follows Yuto Fujimoto, a shut-in who takes a job removing adult material from social media. What begins as routine content moderation grows unsettling when flagged posts appear connected to three women in his life: Misa, Yui, and Rika. A mistaken moderation decision brings strange reactions from neighbors and the media, tying Yuto’s work to a larger story about secrets and a world slipping into chaos.
Play unfolds across four daily time slots: Morning, Afternoon, Evening, and Night. Yuto can earn money, advance through five censor ranks, explore the city, and build relationships with its residents. The game’s distinctive twist is that, after proving himself at work, he can deliberately let explicit content pass to raise the world’s CHAOS level. That shift changes dialogue and outfits and unlocks new events, making scheduling and workplace choices part of the story’s escalation.
The experience combines relationship-focused exploration with moderation decisions, minigames, and side missions. Progress on Misa’s route opens access to the Church, Convention, and Police Station, where further activities and characters await.
