TerraScape turns kingdom-building into a relaxed placement puzzle. Players place a Keep, choose a deck of buildings, then expand across a stylized landscape without time pressure. The goal is to grow from a hamlet into a metropolis while earning points to keep drawing buildings.
Each building responds to nearby structures, natural resources and the biome beneath it, so choosing a good location means weighing positive influences against negative ones. Strategic placements can unlock buildings, additional draws and Keep upgrades, while special patterns merge structures into larger complexes with stronger influences and possible rewards such as bonus points, extra cards or special effects. Rather than centering resource management, combat or citizen simulation, the game focuses on spatial planning and scoring.
The format supports both solo puzzle-solving and multiplayer: Kingdom Mode continues until points or buildings run out, while Scenarios and progressively harder Puzzle Terras add specific conditions or placement goals. In co-op, players can build a kingdom together; Versus sets them against one another in a race to a target score.
