Task Bar of Ragnalis is an idle auto-battle RPG built around a compact premise: its heroes fight in the corner of your desktop while you do other things. Battles run automatically, with characters defeating enemies, opening chests, and collecting equipment without direct control. Players can check in between bouts of attention, making its unobtrusive taskbar format a defining part of how the game is played.
Progression comes through decisions about the loot rather than moment-to-moment combat. Stack nine copies of an item to raise its tier, and keep upgrading weapons, cards, and other gear. Equipment can also carry random skills, so items of the same type may perform differently. The game pairs that loot chase with dungeon runs in search of better equipment, giving its automated battles a longer-term collection and optimization loop.
Players also form a party of three heroes, choose from distinct classes including the Pirate, and equip each character while setting up their skills. That combination of party building and incremental gear tuning gives players something to adjust during occasional check-ins, while the battles continue in the background.
