Sword Coast Legends is a fantasy role-playing game set along the Sword Coast, with an adventure that reaches into the Underdark. Its Rage of Demons expansion adds story content set around the trading outpost of Mantol-Derith, where players can fight alongside the legendary Drizzt Do’Urden. The setting links a familiar coastal region with the danger and strange inhabitants of the subterranean world.
The expansion’s additions deepen character-building with a playable Tiefling race and Warlock class. Warlocks gain abilities including Eldritch Blast and spells such as Hex, while Tieflings have fire resistance and abilities such as Hellish Rebuke and Darkness. These specifics give the expansion a distinct focus on new character options alongside its Underdark story, rather than presenting it solely as a new area to explore.
Rage of Demons also adds Dungeon Master tools, including two tilesets, new monsters, and placeable decorations and objects.
