Sword and Fairy 7 is an action role-playing adventure set amid conflict among three clans: Humans, Deities, and Demons. Its story unfolds in a world shaped by traditional oriental aesthetics, giving the journey a mythic backdrop. Rather than carrying forward the series’ traditional turn-based battles, this entry builds its encounters around third-person, real-time action.
Combat is designed for on-the-fly decisions: players can enter a fight at any time and switch the controlled character whenever they choose. Each character can equip skills for use during battle, while small spirits become available as the story progresses and help with exploration. The game also offers a card game as a change of pace after intense battles, alongside its main adventure.
