After a meteor strike devastates civilization, Survive the Fall casts players as leaders trying to build a safe home for survivors in a recovering but still hazardous world. The open-world setting pairs the promise of exploration with threats from hostile factions, wildlife, and nature itself, while the story asks players to uncover what the meteor left behind.
Expeditions put a small team to work exploring, fighting, and looting, while other followers can be assigned jobs at the settlement. Players manage equipment and health, gather resources, and choose how to handle danger: stealth, traps and ambushes, or direct combat with commands to teammates. Limited ammunition and medicine make those choices consequential, and gathered materials support crafting and the camp’s needs.
Back at the settlement, players build and improve facilities such as farms, kitchens, research labs, and shelters, attract survivors, and develop technologies. The mix of open-world exploration, tactical team encounters, and settlement management gives the single-player format a clear rhythm: prepare a community, venture out with companions, and bring useful resources back.
