Super Sus builds its space-bound mystery around shifting loyalties. Spacecrew members work through tasks and try to identify and vote out impostors, while impostors secretly eliminate crew and use sabotage to sow disorder. Neutral roles add another motive: each has its own objective, so not every player is pursuing the crew’s shared victory. The result is a social strategy game in which teamwork and suspicion operate at once.
That core contest sits alongside formats for different kinds of play. Duo and Squad modes are designed for playing with friends or family, and private rooms let a group set custom rules. Other modes change the immediate challenge: Colosseum is a last-player-standing fight, Hide & Seek pairs task completion with evasion of hunters, and Lover Mode asks partners to stay alive together. Role upgrades and cosmetic options, including emotes, action effects and outfits, provide ways to personalize play.
Its appeal is not limited to uncovering an impostor; the game also offers role-specific objectives and modes that shift the focus toward survival, pursuit or paired play.
