Super Panda Adventures casts players as Fu, a panda-knight nearing the end of his training to become the Princess’s guardian. Robots interrupt the celebration, seeking to conquer the planet and abduct her, setting up a rescue adventure with a clear fantasy-action premise.
The fighting combines sword strikes, thrown shuriken and magic abilities. Players can mix those attacks to earn combo points that increase experience, then level up Fu to unlock abilities and upgrades. This links moment-to-moment combat to character growth, giving experimentation with attack combinations a role beyond simply defeating enemies.
Beyond battles, the game follows a non-linear Metroidvania structure across two worlds, with hidden items, quests, magic items and conversations with non-player characters. Its adventure and RPG elements sit alongside platforming, while English and German dialogue provide two language options. Together, these features frame the game as a solo journey built around exploration, combat and progression rather than a multiplayer contest.
