Sunderfolk is a co-op tactical RPG built around shared campaigns and the social feel of a game night. Players take on challenging missions together, then return to Arden, a village where they can upgrade shops, discover gear, share meals, and meet locals. That alternation between demanding encounters and a welcoming communal space gives the adventure room for both careful planning and lighter moments.
Combat centers on skill cards and coordinated decisions: the party chooses its turn order, plans moves, adapts tactics to enemies, and faces bosses. The game supports two distinct ways to gather. Friends can play online with mouse and keyboard, using native multiplayer, or share a couch and use phones as controllers. In that phone-control setup, the phone app serves as a hand of cards, guidebook, and controller; online multiplayer requires each player to own the game, while only the host needs to own it for phone-controller play.
In either case, the central appeal is collaborative decision-making, with players shaping a campaign through mission strategy and the quieter village activities between battles.
