Set in 1930s Egypt, Strange Brigade casts players as a team of daring heroes pursuing Seteki, a witch queen returned from a 4,000-year burial. The adventure runs through ancient ruins, pyramids and caves, where exploration and perilous puzzles sit alongside battles against her undead forces. Its third-person action frames the expedition as a supernatural treasure hunt, not simply a sequence of encounters.
Combat draws on prototype weapons and magical powers, while the environment can turn into part of the arsenal: spinning blades, fire traps and falling boulders can take down enemies. Clues, hidden entrances and ancient contraptions add puzzle-solving to the hunt for buried treasure. The enemy roster ranges from mummies and fire-breathing assassins to armoured minotaurs and giant scorpions, giving the adventure a blend of pulp spectacle and mythological menace.
The campaign can be played alone or in online co-op for two to four players, while Score Attack and Horde offer additional formats for one to four.
