Starblast is an online multiplayer arcade space shooter built around a brisk loop of gathering resources, improving a spacecraft and contesting other players. Asteroids supply crystals and gems, while encounters can end with stolen loot as well as destroyed ships. Its changing arenas are another part of the design: procedural generation creates different star systems and asteroid fields, so the routes and resource layouts vary from match to match.
Progression connects mining to combat rather than keeping them separate. Players improve ship stats and move through a seven-tier tree of 31 spacecraft, each with distinct laser patterns and abilities. Secondary weapons and powers add offensive and defensive options. In team play, three sides develop space stations by delivering crystals, then raid rival bases or disrupt mining runs; players can take on roles such as defending, escorting miners or attacking. Survival instead makes the goal outlasting opponents, while Deathmatch uses a choice between two ships and a race to score points.
Counts therefore reflect activity around a game whose sessions can center on resource gathering, coordinated team tactics or direct combat, rather than a single fixed match format. The Pro Deathmatch Championship adds a persistent competitive leaderboard to that mix.
