STAR WARS™: Battlefront Classic Collection brings together the classic Battlefront and Battlefront II, framing combat around iconic conflicts from Episodes I through VI. Its campaigns revisit those battles, while Battlefront II’s story follows Darth Vader’s elite 501st Legion. Galactic Conquest takes a different approach: players devise a strategy, recruit troops, and pursue the goal of conquering the galaxy.
The collection’s battles span ground combat, vehicle engagements, and aerial or space dogfights. Players can fight as soldiers such as Wookiee Warriors, Jet Troopers, and Droidekas, or take control of vehicles including Speeder Bikes and AT-STs. Hero Assault adds another layer, letting players battle as familiar heroes and villains across ground maps, including locations where the mode was not previously playable. Bonus maps, bonus heroes, and support for online and offline play round out the package.
Because the collection combines campaigns, a strategy-driven conquest mode, and multiplayer battles, its play format ranges from narrative missions to competitive matches and cooperative options. Online battles support up to 64 players, while the listed modes also include PvP, co-op, LAN, and shared-screen play.
